Molly is a graduate of Brandeis University.  After college she pursued a career in publishing.

 

She writes:  "Talking Tree was born of many forces in my life.  I learn and change through talking and through listening, and I need living Conversation in my life.  I always have and was blessed with submersion in words of substance while I grew up.

 

"My academic parents were passionately fond of probing the unknowable, be it spiritual, political or psychological.  Truth--whatever that might have seemed to consist of at the moment--was respected.  We thrived on grappling with the mysteries, the ambiguities and the ambivalences of our existence.  And I learned from them what a scaffold of connectivity and understanding words are.  Because of that legacy--and because of the Earth's crisis--I am committed to cultivating and supporting the spirit of inquiry and the communal bonds it inspires.  I am convinced that commitment to that spirit is an essential element in the healing of our planet.
